Double IPA (Pliny the Elder Clone) 8% ABV
A very hoppy and flavorful IPA. You may want to use a large hop bag or spider to handle the huge hop additions.
I let it sit in the primary for two months before kegging.
Lion Stout 9% ABV
An unusual stout with a mild fruit flavor. The dark caramel, large dense headed brew, with its 9%
alcoholic content, is unique due to its sweet notes of chocolate and coffee interspersed into a foundation
of dark roasted barley.
I did a partial mash and let it sit on the primary for three months before kegging.
Mack in Black 8% ABV
Dark chocolate barley and roasted grains paired with American hops, and Belgian yeast create a
mouthful of flavors. Think dark chocolate and espresso with a very subtle hint of pomegranate.
Caramel and smoky flavors in the middle and only a hint of berry in the finish. Bold yet not heavy,
and a perfect accompaniment to many fine foods.
Try with oysters, chocolate, triple cream brie with jam or BBQ ribs.
I did a partial mash and let it sit on the primary for three months before kegging.
Janet's Brown Ale 6.4% ABV
Featuring large quantities of late kettle hops, this beer shows aromas of baker's chocolate and
citrus, before flavors of more chocolate, grapefruit, orange, and light roast.
This beer was the favorite of Mike "Tasty" McDole late wife, Janet. Cheers to her, to Tasty,
and to the great memories and relationships wrought from beer, the world over.
I did a partial mash and let it sit on the primary for three months before kegging.
